Verbatim Double Layer Discs provide a massive 8.5GB storage capacity. The double layer of recording has been made possible by the creation of a new substrate layer that sits in between each recording layer, that allows the laser beam to record on both layers. Once the first layer has been recorded, the laser is re-focused to record on the second layer.

This is a recommendable DL disc and one that has never let me down, ever. I note that the price has gone up two Pounds in the last month or two with amazon, which is unfortunate given that there are other places to buy these cheaper. Finally, I also note that the larger size pack of these actually costs you more to buy per disc.

If you using these discs to burn XBOX 360 backups. Then there is no better disc if you are using the macs superdrive other cheaper discs like AONE will not work as the heat is too much for them. i can't recommend these enough

I have bought Verbatim discs for sometime now and have never had a bad one. Despite doubts expressed elsewhere about the reliability of Verbatim discs from different regions, I have had great results with these labelled both Singapore & India. I shall continue to use Verbatim when I need a reliable result. Verbatim, Maxell & TDK are names that I have come to trust. Buy with confidence.

Waste of money
They were a waste of money i can't use them as my PC won't burn onto them. I still have the entire packed unused!

I needed a DVD disc to back up my car sat-nav disc, these do the job and with 8.5GB of space are ideal for document and photo backup as well.

Dual layer disks good quality.
Needed dual layer disks to copy long duration dvds these disk did the job and I had no failures when burning an iso image. Would buy again good value quick delivery.

Hmm, double layer cake!
When 4.7GB just isn't enough!
I bought these to archive some data files.
I knew my DVD burner could handle Dual Layer disks and these did the job perfectly.
