Verbatim DVD+R uses Verbatim's AZO Technology which ensures any recording to be of a superior quality. The broad compatibility of Verbatim's discs make them ideal for sharing computer data, home videos, photos and music.
LightScribe technology is an integrated system that combines the DVD drive of your LightScribe-enabled computer with specially coated discs. These discs can then have laser-etched labels burned directly onto the disc surface by the same laser that burns the content of the discs. This is all possible with enhanced disc-burning software.

These discs had no problem with writing (up to 20x) and printing on both my laptop (Matshita) and desktop (LG) drives. The Infiniti discs would not print in my laptop drive, and although they did print in the LG drive, the quality was not as good as with the Verbatim which had a less transparent print layer and had greater detail and contrast than the Infiniti. You should make sure you have the latest lightscribe system software from lightscribe and ideally the latest firmware for your DVD drive. Note that these discs are DVD+Rs which may not work on older (pre 2004) DVD players (the equivalent DVD-R spindle is code 43643).
brought these to try out my new Philips DVD1040 lightscribe portable burner. Out of the 6 i have used there have been no coasters. all have burnt well with no errors and have printed succesfully on the Lightscribe side. Overall, a quality product..
I bought these to try after the "Infiniti" ones were not recognised by my Lightscribe burner (on a HP G70 laptop). These ones worked fine! I burned 2 disks then added stylish crisp labels of high quality using the lightscribe technology. Very pleased!
