I used to save my data on Verbatim 5x DVD-RAM disks but these have almost vanished from the shelves. I did a bit of research recently and found - rightly or wrongly - that some sources reckon that 3x DVD-RAMs are good for a lot more rewrite sessions than the 5x ones. Well, you pays yer money and takes yer choice. These discs are well packaged, the jewel cases are neat and slim (duh!) and the physical presentation of the disks is perfect. Operationally, I tried them with two disk writing programs and all I will say is that if you combine these disks with Nero Burning ROM 11 for data backup you can't go wrong. (The other software wouldn't erase them for some reason.) I have never been let down by Verbatim and, as I said in my review of Verbatim's 5x product, DVD-RAM is the best format if you still archive stuff to disk. Burn speeds are necessarily slower on a 3x, but that means you have time to make a coffee and relax! Recommended.
