I watch movies on my Xbox and it's a real pain with a standard controller. The gamepad automatically switches off after 10mins of non-use so if you want to pause the video you have to wait until it turns back on.
This remote is ideal, it does everything you need to, it has buttons to interact with Sky Player aswell. You can turn the Xbox on and off, eject the disc tray and navigate the dashboard etc so it ticks all the boxes. Two AA batteries are all that's required and they last a very long time.
Has integration into Windows Media Centre as well
It saves you money and makes life easier so it's all good!

Does the job but not perfect. Buttons can need a couple of presses sometimes but apart from that great for the money

Better than having your controller on the floor
