More About the Author

Did you ever get lost in Paris, or London, or New York?
Did you ever get out of the subway and didn't know where to go?

Well, I did.

I hate travel guides which doesn't take tourists from point A to point B. I hate travel guides which randomly in some weird order present the tourist attractions and you still don't have a slight idea which of these attractions you should really visit, spend your money on entrance fees and take at least one to two hours for proper exploring.

For 10 years I've been lost at least once every day in one of the cities all over the world.

And then I decided. I made strong decision to share my knowledge with all Amazon readers and start to write books which will be on budget, books which will take tourists from point A to point B with exact routes and names of the streets.

I made the decision that in my book and travel guides I will never randomly place attraction after attraction, and I made a decision that I will openly recommend and talk about best deals and ways to visit every city about which I will write in the books.

Since 2001 I work for cruise lines.

As I choose to live my life on one of these cruise ships, I've got so many opportunities to learn about ports of call, different cultures and different languages. I did most of them. And it is not enough. Every vacation which is having length of 2 to 4 months - I travel. There is no vacation in my last 10 years that I was in Croatia more than 4 days.

To plan vacations is not an easy process.

First you have to have all your dates set. Then the decision has to be made: Where to go? Then you have to set your budget. Then, again you have to make decision where to go, because of the budget. And finally planning can start.

If you plan to visit Europe this, or maybe one of the next years, you made a good and vise decision to buy one of my books.

Europe is different than States. There are so many hidden sights and monuments that you get to see only when you are over there. Then, all of the sudden you might change your mind, and there will be a will to visit another site or nearby city. The prices of tours are astronomic and people cannot afford such sudden changes in plans.

There is load of material on how to compare and book rent-a-car, travel with train, low cost airlines, cruises and many more.

"How to Travel in Europe?" was just the beginning and I tried to bring more close all possible ways of travel and exploring Europe.

Now in the middle of super exciting project of publishing at least 25 tourist guides about Verona, Pisa, Rome, Milan, Venice, Naples, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Barcelona in more specific way than any other guide on the market.

My goal is to bring close any of the cities, regardless of the language or customs.

If you have only 1 day to visit Verona than you can buy "Verona in 1 Day", if you have 3 days for Barcelona, than you can buy "Barcelona in 3 Days".

Travel guides which will not overwhelm with tons of useless information which you can find and read on Wikipedia or blogs; travel guides which will recommend what you really can and should see and visit in Amsterdam in 1 Day, in London in 3 Days or in Paris in 5 Days.

I know that instructions from my books will have a positive impact on your wallet and you will really enjoy your stay in Europe.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, practical guide 12 Mar. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is a Kindle guide to Venice. It is designed around a one day visit.

The guide starts with advice on travel and accommodation, and on tickets that should be booked in advance. The book is very practical. For example, it has photos of ticket machines, and step by step guidance on how to work them if you have trouble with the Italian instructions.

The main part of the book then takes you through a one day visit, including details of sites and museums, and the vaporetto stops at which to get on and off (assuming you follow the author's advice and buy a whole day ticket!).

There's some information on the history of Venice, and useful advice on buying gifts. Overall, an excellent little guide book.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's OK 22 Dec. 2014

I should have looked more carefully. I don't wish to be rude as I can only speak English and Goran is clearly fluent in something that is not his native language but the writing style is a little clumsy and he would benefit from having his books proof read by a native English speaker. It did meander off into a lot about street crime and I rather lost it by the time we reached St Mark's Square etc.
