Very small and light when folded, but is very firm when extended. I use if for videoing live jazz music from the middle of a crowded audiance when I need to hold the camera still for 5 minutes or more. It is ideal for this and the best monopod I have ever owned, I carry a ball head with me but have never needed to use it yet.

This simple to use monopod does exactly what you would wish it to do. I use it with my DSLR in the field and have already gained some excellent shots. It allows for a greater range of readings, in poor light etc, without camera shake and without having to lug my cumbersome tripod around with me. I have enough spare gear. It also fits nicely in the front of my camera bag for easy access. Maybe not the most spectacular piece of kit but you really can't ask for more.

I spent a lot of time finding something small enough to carry everywhere, tall enough to use in comfort for long periods and strong enough to survive my handling. This was even better than I expected. I added a Manfrotto 234 head as I need to be able to pan the camera at speed and keep it lined up on fast moving wildlife. A number of monopods are stronger but are generally far bigger and heavier and I have seen no sign of it not coping with the weight of my cameras and lenses.

Compact & Lightweight
This is great for when you don't want to carry a tripod with you, but may need some extra support. It's compact enough to stick in your bag or hang from the outside or your belt!
