Well waht can i say, an expansion that looks at the wider world of the dark ages and not just from the European view point. This book gives a great insight into how vampires of the Middle East interact with their society and how they have been effected by the rise of a new religion.
Like all White Wolf books its not too accurate, and leaves a number of large gaps which you and your players will have to fill in but thats not such a bad thing as it leaves scope for your own ideas. It does contain good information though on the Kindred of the area, providing clans with almost seperate blood lines, different in out look if not in abbilities. Get this if you want a real role playing experience and are willing to give somethign totally different a shot.
One word of warning, the treatment of Islam is not perfect as in any western writings but does give a good overview. Shame about the quotes really, next time dotn cut up religious texts, just get people to look themselves.
Any way its a good source, and something different from the norm. Just try readin the Koran aswell as a book or to on Arab culture so you can see a bit more.
