Nearly half the size of my old JVC GRDVP7 which used to be most compact camcorder 5 - 6 years ago. It has a variety of video recording formats: HD, VGA, QVGA, DI. Stills can be taken in different qualities (high, standard, low) as well. It's fairly easy to navigate with the help of the online manual and comes with a variety of cables to plug into my pc (usb) and TV. Also has a set of earphones. It has a small memory so it's recommended you get a memory card (SDHC). It can hold up 16GB (useful if you're going to use it as an mp3 player too).
It's very light and has a big LCD screen (no view finder). Video quality would have been better if it could have recorded faster than 30fps. There's no cap for the lens so you have to be careful not to scratch it. Slightly awkward to hold once the screen is out on the side because it's so slim. Also found that the zoom doesn't work while recording with the stabilisation mode on.
Overall very handy and comes with its pouch and rechargeable battery.

Neat, compact and easy to use. This was an xmas gift for a teenage lad. I was looking for camcorder/camera the shape & size of a mobile phone which would be slim and convenient enough to pop inside a jacket or jeans pocket, this pocket camcorder is perfect. The video images and sound are clear, the still digital photos are much sharper that expected during daylight but not so good at night however, it's still early days and maybe the night mode hasn't been sussed yet. Downloading to PC/laptop/external memory is simple and if you are considering purchasing this camcorder don't forget to buy a memory card such as 8GB SDHC. The integrated MP3 is a big bonus and I guess the YouTube link will be tested at some point in time. Overall this is good value for money, does what it says on the box & looks neat. My son uses it, loves it and has it in his pocket most of the time.

The veho is a lovely budget option. I didnt have much to spend but wanted to able to have some video of my baby. some of the comments made by others are true - the quality isnt always the best, but as far as value for money, I think this is a great option. My main criticism is that the controls are not very intuitive.

Absolute garbage
No zoom whilst filming. Difficult menus. Destroyed three batteries at not inconsequential cost= third one to die has caused me to chuck in the bin
