If there's one thing that makes VeggieTales a great cartoon, it's the songs - especially the silly ones. The songs lose surprisingly little without the amusing graphics, and this CD contains some of the best. From the all-time classic ballad of the Hairbrush Song (which is the one song that really suffers without the graphics), to the legendary Water Buffalo Song, this is a triumph of the Veggies. With such wonderful lyrics as 'We could use him as a footstool/ or a table to play scrabble on/ then tie him up and beat him up and throw him out of Babylon' from my all-time favourite veggie song 'Oh No! What We Gonna Do?' how could anybody not enjoy this (unfortunately) small collection?

There are also some useful lessons to be learnt, as the veggies tell us in the entertaining way that only they can, that God IS bigger than the boogieman, that it's a good idea to love your neighbour, and that I CAN be your friend.

If you're already a veggie fan, then you'll find all the things you already love in this CD. If you've not yet encountered Veggie Tales, then this CD is an introduction and an inspiration to find out more.

It's time for VeggieTales! This music and characters are NOT just for kids. I'm 20 years old and I LOVE IT. Some of my friends are older than me and they love it too. Those Veggies are simply lovable (not to mention fun, witty, and cute). Trust me; if you buy this CD you won't regret it(even if you don't have kids like me and my friends). My favorite song is "I Can Be Your Friend". I hear it over and over and over again! VeggieTales-Mania "...is sweepin' the nation and if your not on board you're goin' to miss the train" (Larry The Cucumber). Be sure to get your hands on VeggieTunes and you too will be singin' yourself silly! My favorite "Veggie" (yeah, like if you care...but anyway...)is the 5 years old Junior Asparagus. In a sense, he is just like my baby sister...only smaller and green. Thanks for reading my review. I appreciate it greatly. BE GOD'S!

Veggietales is not only for the kids, I am 30,with a 10 months old boy and we love all the videos and the music we got our hands on! We are not christians but the values taught are good, good values are for all religions! Thanks to my 4 yr old nephew, he was the first to watch Veggietales and got us interested!
