this book is so good we are a besy working family with two young vegetarian children and we were looking for a few recipies that the whole family can enjoy together that are full of goodness but at the same time quick and easy to make the pictures make it great for the kids to follow the recipies in its step by step form - well worth getting i would recommend this book to anyone .

I had thought it was either going to be a cookbook for use by vegetarian kids or a cook book with lots of recipes a vegetarian child would like to eat. The book was mainly snacks and puds and there seemed to be very few recipes for main meals and even fewer my vegetarian daughter was excited about trying - I think I could write a better book! However it was reasonably priced

Fun, Easy-to-Make yet Reasonably Healthy Recipes 11 May 2011

My 8 y.o. likes to cook many of the recipes from this book herself (under supervision, of course!) The step-by-step photos make the recipes easy to follow. There is a good variety of dishes from kiddie staples like pizza, nachos, and burgers to more elegant gourmet fare like aubergine bolognese, mushroom flan, and pumpkin risotto. And unlike some of the other vegetarian cookbooks aimed at kids/teens, the recipes are for the most part reasonably healthy. Highly recommended for families with vegetarian or "flexitarian" children.
