Not many cook books are out they for vegan eaters but this a book which is well written and easy to follow cookbook. Even if your not a vegan eater but want to eat healthy will enjoy this book with great recipes available, Its also packed with health benefits and not just a recipe book.

I am completely new to the vegan lifestyle. I wanted to get into it to see if the many touted health benefits of it are true.

I bought this book because of it's 5 star rating and as it was on the front page of the search(always an awesome sign in my eyes).

So far I've not been disappointed. I've only cooked two meals so far: the chocolate peanut butter cake and the butternut squash chilli. Both were delicious and easy to whip up.

Kate white writes in a friendly way and her recipes are super easy to follow. Recommend this book for anyone who loves slow cooking.

I want to note I gave 4 stars as I've only cooked 2 meals - I will be increasing it to 5 if all the other recipes are this awesome :D

I love slow cooking and even though I am not a strict vegan I do like to eat this way often. Kate explains the ingredients vegans can and cannot eat. She describes the benefits of slow cooking and then does a run down of different slow cookers - describing the differences of shape and also the sizes you will need to feed for example 3-4 people.

The recipes are easy to prepare - no silly ingredients that you wont be able to find easily!

I LOVE the curry dishes so far and cannot wait to try the creamy sweet potato stew.

I love the author's chocolate peanut butter cake. It was simple, easy and gone in a flash once my kids discovered them in the refrigerator. I rarely use my slow cooker so this one was quite a surprise.

Anytime I review a Vegan Recipe book I am always honest and say that I still eat meat but haven't found anyone who makes vegetables taste as good as vegans can. In Kate's book I was pleasantly surprised that she also gives some guidelines on what to watch out for when you are being a strict vegan. I see some vegan recipe books include ingredients that do not belong in a vegans diet, not if you are following a strict lifestyle that is. Even though I am not a vegan I still prefer not to eat some animal by-products like gelatin.

You cannot beat using a slow cooker especially if you are a parent of four like I am. Oh and I should mention many of these recipes appeal to my kids also even though they are not vegetable lovers by nature or because of me whining about vegetables all the time. I also liked the fact she points out not to open the lid unless you absolutely have to. I guess there goes sneaking a deep whiff of the delicious aromas until it is done.

If you want to jump right in with a recipe I highly recommend the stuffed bell peppers. As a weight loss coach I will be recommending this Vegan Slow Cooker recipe book to my clients. Grab it today and enjoy.

This book is filled with delicious, easy recipes that will satisfy any vegan looking for fresh ideas for slow cooking. I loved Mac n' Cheese with a twist! Can't wait to try them all. I highly recommend it!
