This ebook was so useful. I mapped out every location listed (unfortunately the book didn't include a map - the only con!) and carried my map with me everywhere I went during my 1 week stay in Paris. No matter what attractions we visited, I was quickly able to located a vegan dinning spot. The restaurant reviews were also very helpful; I was to ensure that every meal met our needs and likes. Being new to veganism, and traveling as a vegan for the first time could have been a huge challenge, but instead (thanks to Emily's blog and ebook) it was delightful!
2 restaurants need to be added:
1. Vegan Folie's
2. The Gentle Gourmet Café (no longer a b&b)
5.0 out of 5 stars Vegan Paris - très magnifique 26 Dec 2012

You cannot find a better value than this inexpensive guide to Vegan/Vegetarian eateries in Paris. It is well researched and well written. Using the Kindle iPhone app, I was able to easily find places to eat during my October 2012 visit to Paris. Since we were staying in Hotel Le Notre Dame (1 Quai Saint-Michel, 75005), my favorite place was Le Grenier de Notre-Dame at 18 rue de la Bucherie 70005 which is just a street off Quai de Montebello (which is directly across the Seine from the Notre Dame). My favorite item on the menu was the Falafel; it is vegan, it is an appetizer, and it comes with enough salad (with vegan tzatziki) to make it a nice meal. I eat light (the Parisien way) and so it was a perfect evening meal accompanied with a glass of white wine.

I love Paris, but with my novice French skills, I worry that I may be ordering four different internal organs instead of a lentil salad. This very well written book gives clear descriptions of a long list of vegan and vegetarian restaurants. (True, each location is not directly mapped but it's easy enough to do it yourself on Google maps and it does provide complete addresses and Metro stops.) The important thing is vegetarians and vegans have plenty of options in Paris and thanks to Vegan Paris we know exactly what they are, their price ranges, and if you'll have room for dessert. It's a bargain, too. Bon appetit!
