Area Zone Caps
Veet epilators have two precision heads. The large zone cap is designed for legs whilst the small zone cap is for sensitive areas such as delicate underarms and bikinis. The cap restricts the area of skin exposed to the tweezers making it ideal for either sensitive areas as less hair is removed per stroke, or for removing specific areas of hair and creating a more precision finish.

3 steps to Touchably Smooth skin...
Ensure the skin is clean & free from creams or lotions hold the spray 6 inches (15 cm) away from the skin & spray a light mist over the area to be epilated. Allow 2-5 mins for the area to dry before epilating.
Connect the epilator to the mains supply and remove the protective cap. Switch the epilator on selecting the speed you require; lower speeds are recommended for finer hair and sensitive areas & higher speeds for coarser hair.
Hold the epilator using one hand and hold the skin taut with the other and place the discs of the epilator head at 90° to the skin. Glide the epilator in short brush like stokes against the direction of hair growth. Once you have finished epilating the area required, wash the skin & moisturise.

I was drawn to this epilator because i know Veet is a great make as i regularly use their branded toiletries - but in comparison to the Braun Wet and Dry epilator which i had been using - but fancies trying a Veet to see if it was less painful as i wasnt used to epilating - i have to say it sadly isnt as good.Firstly when i first tried it i was very very impatient - i let it charge 6 hours then i was desperate to have a go!! - i couldnt wait the full 14 so it gave me about 15 minutes epilating before it cut out!! - 14 hours did seem an age to wait - so if your're going out in the evening make sure it's on first thing in the morning or ready the night before!! i wasnt overly impressed with the spray they provided - i dont think it really aided or made the epilating any better, and it was more uncomfortable as the braun i use wet in nice hot water and it opens your pores and makes the hairs come out easier and more smoothly. Before using the Veet one now - i make sure i soak my legs in hot water and then dry them thoroughly before usage. Also i personally found the unit an odd shape its quite small and chunky and i find doing delicate areas its a little clumbsy!! - whereas the braun is long and slim and fits to the contours of your hand and has better precision i think. This Veet epilator does have its plus sides, its a real budget epilator and makes a lovely gift as it comes with a very stylish carry bag which looks great and its a trendy well known brand and as i said it is quite cheap - my only real downside is you can't use it wet, which as i have been using a wet one that is what i am used to now, but if you have never experienced a wet one then you wont miss it and i recommend this to you, budget and does the job well!

I am suprised by the negative reviews of this product. I first used this epliator with a feeling of nervousness. I sprayed the pre epilation spray on my leg and within seconds I began to feel a tingly numb sensation this meant that all though I could feel a slight nipping at my leg I did not feel the pain that I was expecting.The inbuilt light was extremely useful for identifying fine hairs and the fact that this epilator is rechargeable is really handy when you are on the go. I did not find the recharge time an issue as I usually only need to use this once a week, I put it on to charge as soon as I have used it and then it is ready for the next use. I definately recommend this to anyone who is thinking of purchasing an eplilator for the first time. It is definately better than epilators that I have tried in the past.

This is the first epilator I have owned or used so I was a little apprehensive about giving it a go.Firstly, I liked the look of the product. It came in a compact, attractive box meaning it could easily be given as a gift. With the epilator itself you also get a small bag for storing it, a stand, a cleaning brush, a choice of two heads, the power cable and some pre-epilation spray. The whole thing is bright pink which is great (if you like that sort of thing) and very stylish. I'm not going to lie - actually using the epilator was uncomfortable at the start, particularly the bottom of my legs. Surprisingly, I didn't find it as sore while attempting my bikini line. The unit has a small light on the top which helps you to see the area you are epilating and identify any stray hairs. I did feel that I had to go over my legs a few times before I was happy with the result and even then it wasn't as smooth as shaving. I tried the pre-epilation spray on one of my legs to see if I could tell the difference. Despite the lovely menthol smell, I personally found the pain a lot worse when using the spray than without. The unit can either be charged up and used wirelessly or it can be used while connected to the mains. I did the latter and found there was ample cable to stretch from my socket. My legs stayed relatively smooth for about 3 weeks and even when the hair grew back, it was softer and less obvious then if I had shaved. Although it does get easier the more often you use it, I still think that shaving may be a less painful option and I will probably alternate between the two. Overall, this was a good value, attractive looking epilator that would be great for a first timer. 4 stars.
