I bought these after reading the horrifying reviews of it's sister product, the dreaded cream.
Not being a fan of Mr Winky's current moustache style, I thought I'd try to reform it into a "Hitler"-type affair and would carefully apply the strips to give a neat, straight line when removed.
Read the instructions understanding none of them, heated up strips and applied successfully. Five hours later after falling asleep watching the snooker I deftly removed one of the strips, along with the hair, some skin and a fingernail - not an auspicious start.
Having suffered the indignity and not inconsiderable pain of the first strip-removal the second was done with a much longer, quicker stroke in an upward movement. Again it removed the hair and some skin although not a fingernail this time. Fairly successful although the quick, upward movement caused me to punch myself in the face, breaking my nose and puffing my left eye. I did, however, at this time still have normal coloured and sized testicles which some unfortunate cream-users do not - a bonus point for the strips .
Gaining confidence I moved down to the lads bag and repeated the above procedure being careful to remove AWAY from the head. Similar result - the hair, some skin and a big chunk of ballsack causing one testicle to dangle alarmingly before casually dropping to the floor. It's now kept in an eggcup on the mantelpiece as a warning.
Now I should have stopped there but it's no good testing a product unless it's done thoroughly and objectively so I moved up to my unruly nose and ear hair (Why is it that male head hair loss is directly proportional to nose and ear hair growth?).
I won't go into the details but my nose now resembles Barry Manilow's after being slapped with a cricket bat and my ears would look at home on the Big Friendly Giant.
All in all a fairly good product if you have had an accident which renders you impervious to pain, and have unused eggcups lying around the house. The free moisterising wipes are an inspired addition and I found them excellent for wiping away my tears.
Also if anyone sees a black and white cat with a stripe of hair missing down it's back, would you kindly let me know as I really miss Smoky.
