Having two dogs and two cats my hunt or a vacuum that lives up to its name seems to be never ending, as soon as you think you have found a vacuum that is going to live up to the task you are soon finding out that this is not so. Then I was recommended this model, after setting up the machine which was really easy and quick, I Found that not only did this model pass my high expectations in leaving my carpets and floors really clean and free from pet hair,but it was a joy to want to do the hoovering again.I have been using this model for sometime now and it still is living up to the task.It has a selection of on board tools which also make any task a lot easier.The only downside to this model is it is a little on the noisy side, but as I'm sure you will agree I would rather a little noise over pet hair any day.I certainly recommend this vacuum to any pet owner, you will be so glad you made this choice.

The vax power 6 pet U90-p6-p vacuum cleaner is awesome. The suction is superb. I previously owned a cylinder cleaner for ease of carrying up and down stairs and for light weight use on the stairs. With this machine the long hose and extended wand reaches all the stairs easily. I have 2 black labradors and a 3 year old boy, beige/cream carpets on the stairs and first floor, slate floor on the ground floor with a very deep shaggy rug, I thought I was doing a good job with my old cleaner as needed emptying regularly but as soon as I used the power 6 the difference in the colour of the carpets was unbelievable, if not embarrassing! The amount of hair that came out of the rug was truly shocking.the adjustable roller height is brilliant on all my different surfaces. The power of this machine has impressed my partner so much so he has taken to vacuuming more! The long flex eliminates the need to transfer plug sockets, although being used to a retractable cord now takes a while to wind back up.

A very sturdy vacuum cleaner, with impressive suction power.
On the first use, my living room rug actually looked clean (we have a cat and a dog!), it hasn't looked like that for a long time with our old machine despite regularly changing the filter, and to see the pet hair etc drawn into the cylinder on the first few sweeps was also very impressive and satisfying
It also comes with a range of attachments that work well with no apparent loss of suction power and the cable length is more than adequate for our home. The attachments come in very handy for awkward corners and the vacuum also performs well on our laminated floor areas.
Only negative point is that it's a little heavy but given the amount of suction power and performance it's really a minor point all things considered
Overall, an impressive vacuum, I would certainly recommend this to anyone

Good, but stupid cable.

good value for money
a bit on the noisey side but cleans up pet hairs no problem gives you a good arobics workout at the same time so not for the feeble or unfit on the whole good value for the money
