Amazon Verified Purchase
lives up to expectations. Works well evn on soiled carpet and good with animal 'dust'. Rather bulky when it comes to storage that seems to be the only downside.

Good Carpet Cleaner 3 Aug 2011
This is a good domestic cleaner. Very bulky, heavy, and storage is a problem. Finding parts is not easy. Had this machine for 18 months and had not used it for six months. The rolling brushes would not work after that and discovered the microswitch that operates brushes had seized. So far cannot get a replacement. Waste of time talking to Vax. The only solution is to bypass the micro switch for the brushes to work and this renders the hand tools useless and cannot be used.
