These aren't olive coloured which I guess most people looking at these would consider might be greenish?
The seller didn't appear very sympathetic to my disappointment at receiving light sand coloured shoes, and although I received a refund after two returns of the same shoe over a period of two weeks, the first pair sent back was returned to me without explanation, still with the VANS "DUNE" model name on the box and I was made to feel responsible by the seller for choosing to buy these.
They said VANS didn't make a "DUNE" colourway so goodness knows what that's all about as it was clearly marked on the box as the type although the name more aptly describes the colour I received.
The seller said that the images posted for buyers to see were a true represenation of the product and I would agree that a couple of the images are sand coloured however some of the other inserts are more greenish olive coloured in hue which I thought would be a truer product descripition.
I can see that there is ambiguity in the images selected for marketing and I was very disappointed so please don't make the same mistake as me.
Seller refund was accepted as a "gesture of goodwill" on their part again suggesting this whole experience was my fault.
The seller also uses COLLECT+ for returns which takes 5 working days, the buyer has to locate a suitable partner that takes this service, package and download labels etc, all not condusive to a happy customer service.
Never mind, lesson learned, I'm maybe better off buying things like this in a shop.
