As most people probably find, you buy a camera bag and then get more kit and then run out of space and have to upgrade. Whilst i am a big fan of crumpler products, my messenger boy 8000 compromised internal space too much to keep the bag looking good on the outside (and it does look very good). So, i needed more space and thought about the lowe Nova 200 which was a good practical bag for the price but didn't look very good and didn't have some of the clever extra details like this vanguard bag. I took a flyer on this just based on seeing a you tube clip and the fact that i already love other vanguard products.
The build quality is awesome, it looks great with lovely contrasting orange on the inside, and has lots of clever features like the tripod holder, the seperate laptop/ipod pouch and the fact that you pull out the entire padded inner in one go with all of the seperators in place. Only warning is that this is a very big bag. Make sure this is really what you need (check out the vanguard site for full details of its storage)

Just having started out in the film industry I needed to get a bag that would hold all of my equipment so I could travel without having to carry 4 or 5 different boxes / bags.
After looking through videos and reviews online I decided to buy this bag, and it is brilliant.
At first I thought the price was a bit steep for a bag, but its crazy how many things you can fit in there.
Light pad, Canon 7d, 2 lenses, Tascam, Rode Mic, Hand Grip, Gaffer tape, 2 Chargers, Battery grip, Headphones, AA / AAA battery charger and other things I've probably forgotten as well as a Manfrotto tripod and boom pole that sit externally under a special clip at the back of the bag.
As well as all this there was plenty of space for all sorts of cabling, and then enough space still on top. I put a shoulder rig in also although the zip was a bit tight to pull round.
The shoulder strap is comfortable and there is another strap that goes across your chest for more support.
All in all I recommend this bag, especially if you are on the move a lot.
