It took me an age to decide on a case that was protective, functional and stylish. I had previously browsed a number of cases recommended by Apple on their site but reviews complained of various issues ranging from the zippers scratching the mac to a lack of storage.
The Vangoddy (a brand I had never heard of) doesn't have any of the problems I've seen other cases have. It's strong and very well manufactured along the seams and strap areas. It's maiden voyage involved some lovely London rainstorms and after a good soaking my macbook was safe and dry inside.
The pockets are useful and quite big. You can squeeze in the power pack and a number of leads, but I'm not sure carrying the power pack around on a regular basis is a good fit for the case - I can see it stretching the case over time. The main area is a great fit for the macbook pro 13" - no movement in the case. The strap is chunky and gives you peace of mind that it's not going to fall apart!
In summary, the case is well padded, well made, in my opinion attractive and a bargain when compared to the cases retailing for circa. £100 in the Apple stores.
