I first saw the walking poles in a friend's car boot and had that -must have one of those- Went onto internet found them and as I bought them through Amazon I was using them the same week.
Great to use, would recommend them to anyone. You don't have to be elderly and unfit- though of course if you are either then you really do need a pair of walking pole.
great, I'm really pleased with mine which are Vango deluxe cork handled walking poles and the price is amazing. Not a good reason for denying yourself.

CORK HANDLED WALKING POLE 16 Jan 2012

Purchased at the behest of my daughter-in-law for my son (her husband). He was, apparently, delighted with them. A somewhat ambiguous description on the website, and we ended up with two pairs, as we ordered 2 poles, so be careful when ordering. It was a somewhat expensive mistake on my part.
