I purchased this tent for my husband last year from Amazon thinking it would be great for him to use with our 6 year old for weekend's camping. This weekend we tried it out for the first time. Wow, is all I can say. I was impressed by the quality of the tent, and the ease of pitching it (it took only a few minutes for my husband and my cousin to put it up). Once pitched there was enough room inside for a double air bed plus a bit of room for your bags etc. We pitched the tent in a nearby field, and then I retreated to my cousin's house for the night whilst my husband and little one slept in the tent. The weather that night was appalling! Lots of very heavy rain, thunder and lightening, and some wind. The noise of the rain kept my husband awake, but joy of joys not a single drop of water found it's way into the tent. Brilliant!

Used this tent for a motorcycling tour of europe - was in many ways very impressed.
Went through a very heavy thunderstorm in Bavaria with no problem, there was torrential rain and high winds but the tent barely moved and not a drop of rain made it inside.
Space would be fine for two with kit but was great for just one on a motorbiking trip (300 is only a bit bigger than 200 in terms of pack size, so may as well go for that).
Only criticism is pitching - could be easier. For some reason the pole sleeves are not continuous and ruckle up on occasions, getting the tent upright on my own was a bit more of a job than it needed to be. Im no tent designer but maybe short sleeves and then hooks would make things less of a struggle (Hilleberg style), maybe its a cost thing?. in any case its a minor issue for what is an excellent tent for the money.

I bought this tent to use at Download Festival because of all the positive reviews on here, so it had a lot to live up to! I wasn't disappointed, it was easy to put up (even after a few beers) and was 100% water proof even in the thunder storms. It withstood a lot of abuse over the 5 days and was worth every penny!! Can't recommend it enough.

We bought this tent to help support my son's attempt to do climb all Scotland's Munros in 3 months. On only the second night, Scotland's weather hammered it in a stormy night that was unseasonable. My son, a seasoned outdoors guy, was very impressed at this low cost tent's ability to deal with the drenching and pounding it got. Great tent to carry in the car.

Nice and easy to put up (more difficult to get back into the bag!). Used at a Festival and for the first time I brought it home. It survived the after-mouth of Hurricane Bertha in UK and not a drop of water inside. Having bought lots of cheap and pop-up tents before it is worth paying extra to get the extra later inside. It is Black on the outside (at least mine was) so can get quite hot inside! Certainly would be a squish for three people but good enough for two and some luggage. Porch is a little annoying because it is so small and I think there were fewer pegs than necessary for all guide lines and ground hoops. Ohh, and it has TWO doors (I didn't notice this before buying. So if you are worried about security then maybe not this tent.

Went camping with my Scout Troop at the end of September. This tent was great, easy to pitch and plenty of room. The two doors made loading very easy.
It packed up very cleanly although I couldn't do up the zip on the bag! Luckily it comes with straps which clip so no problem there. I would buy a spare set of pegs as there weren't enough with the tent to peg out to my satisfaction.
It was a hit with the other Scouters on camp and certainly one we would look at buying again in the future.
