If you are looking for real musicians and decent songs with worthwhile guitar breaks this is the video for you. An excellent overview of the concert performed in 1992 videoed over two nights to give the viewer the best possible coverage of the show. It includes a brilliant range of music from heavy rock to acoustic guitar. With solo's from the bass guitar and lead guitar and an amazing 7 minute solo from the drummer which has to be seen/heard to be believed. Theres not just great music theres the hideous spandex trewns and 80's hair to be seen. It will hold your attention for the whole 2 hours and give you the feel of the concert atmosphere when played really, really loud.

By far, one of the greatest live bands ever. 12 April 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com

This video is one of the best examples of what a rock concert should be like. I can pretty much guarantee, for those that like this video, that actually going to one of Van Halen's concerts will blow you away. It is truly an amazing thing to see.

A MUST FOR VAN HALEN FANATICS! 7 Dec. 1998
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: VHS Tape
This is a great tape, although it is a mixture of two concerts and spliced together. The solos are really good. But if you want a full VH concert from start to finish I would recommend "Live Without A Net" from the 5150 era.

Spanking! 8 April 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: VHS Tape
Now i know that there are alot of DLR-era die hard fans out there. And if your one of them then don't buy this video. Figures. Although sammy gives the DLR songs a good stab he doesn't pull them off with the same energy as Dave. Having said that, i am a young VH fan (i wasn't even around when David Lee Roth was frontman) and if DLR was still front man they would have gone out of fashion ages ago. And where is he today? the last i saw of him he was presenting 'Dave T.V' - that laughable effort to be noticed other than the ex-VH lead singer. To me, sammy is far better than Dave purely because he brought Van Halen into the modern world. This video is an excellent concert which truly blows your mind. THIS IS WHAT A ROCK CONCERT SHOULD BE. They also do Won't Get Fooled Again by The Who very well. Solos are excellent. Being a drummer myself you have to appreciate how hard it is to pull of a double bass drum rhythm so fast and for so long. Well worth it.

Quintessential Van Hagar 25 Jan. 2001
By Todd Dickens - Published on Amazon.com
Format: VHS Tape
For those of us who thinks Van Halen was at there best with Sammy Hagar, this video is a must have. This concert contains some DLR era songs but mostly 5150 and up. You'll watch it over and over.
