I bought this book ages ago and then forgot it was there as I read all the Sookie Stackhouse, the JR Rain series and a few thrillers. They are the two genres that are my favourite. While on holiday I needed a new book to read so I looked through my Kindle and realised I had not read this one.
I was very pleasantly surprised how good it was, it had romance, action, good versus bad, humour and of course vampire and werewolves!
This book gets 4 stars because like most 1st continuing stories, it takes time to build the story up ready for more action in the 2nd one which I give 5 stars.
I have just finished reading the 2nd book in this series and it just got better and better, can't wait to start the 3rd one.
This first book sets up all the main characters nicely just ready for the story to continue. There is not much werewolf action so to speak in this book but lots more in the 2nd one for those who like the best of both worlds as I do.
I love anything vampire, from books, to movies to TV Series and if you share that passion then you will like this book. Of all the vampire stories out there, I would say this is most similar to The Twilight Series in as much as you have the main character falling in love with his soulmate. But its not mushy by any means, this hero knows how to kick ass and be the leader of his loved ones.
Go Josiah!!

I didn't enjoy this at all. The story was rushed and time wasn't taken to develop the characters. I felt no connection with any of the characters and found it all bit dull in general.

I don't understand why it's called 'Vampire Love Story' as it isn't a vampire love story!!!

I won't be downloading the rest of the series.

4 Stars, Liked It A Lot
This was another free eBook from Amazon and as many of you will know I do like a free book (who doesn't?) any way you will also know that I love the Fantasy genre especially when the stories are about vampires, I am not however fond of the romantic novels I had a pleasant surprise from this story by H. T. Night, it was good and I mean a four star good it had all that a fan of this genre could want. Romance, Action, Good against Evil, Humour very important and not surprisingly vampire and werewolves.
For a good story weaver's first book in what is to become a progression of stories H. T. Night establishes all the main characters well immediately arranged for the story to pick up where you left off.
Now I know that there wasn't a great deal werewolf encounters in this the first story I assume that in the next instalment there will be more this is because of the title "The Werewolf Whisperer (Vampire Love Story #2) (Vampire Love Story, #2)"
but of all the romantic vampire stories available I would say this is the one story or series that is not going to be too mushy in any way, and I am looking forward to reading the other stories from a new and exciting story-Weaver.
Vampire Love Story (#1)

There's so many vampire books available these days and so many different kinds. In this book the vampires are not the sexy hunks of the 'Black Dagger Brotherhood' by J.R. Ward. These are taller, thinner and change into Ravens.
I thought we got to know Joshua quite well, what makes him tick, his humour ect.The rest not so much but I think as the series progresses we will learn more and more about who they are and where they come from.
I only give it 3* because it takes until about 75% of the book before the actions starts and then it's over before it begins I think though I will give book 2 a go,see how the cast of characters develop.

let me set this straight I have read a review saying this book was like twilight ....not true at all.....as a big twilight fan I know this....how ever I decided to give it ago.... things in Josiah life take an unexpected turn as he meets a group of manis aka vampires, losing his flatmate/best friend in the process under strange circumstances, Josiah will find out that he becomes the chosen one. I did enjoy this book its downfall was it takes a while to really get into then it ends....I am however looking forward to reading the 2nd book....watch this space!!!!!!

Definitely my new favourite Vamp book series(I hope), loved the fast pace of the writing and the new spin on Vampires.
Likeable characters and a refreshing change not to be reading about hot sex every few pages gives you enough just to tempt you imagination.
Great story just hope the next instalment delivers.
For a free download its one of the best I've read and I'd definitely recommend it.

This could have been a good read, a little more time and effort was all it needed. There is little character development. The plot is predictable and simple. A continuity error and typing error have been missed in the editing process. Comparisons made in dialogue between characters is unsuitable as they are too specific, readers that do not hold the same interests as the author will be lost.

I usually love any romance paranormal books but this one did not exactly want me to keep reading! I finished it because when I start reading a book I have to finish it! The vampires are not exactly vampires and turn into birds....

If you want too read something different try it, I am told the books get better!
