this book is part of the vampire queen series. have read them all and was waiting by the door for this one watching out for the postman. i was not disappointed. hill has deliverd another deep and powerful story. the erotica is incredibly moving as is the storyline, elisa the maid and malachai the vampire. these books should be read in order so get onto hills page and have a go. this story left me crying, turned on and emotionally wrought, so for me a book that can do all that is a winner. i wont go into the story because that just annoys me when i read too much in other reviews but if you like your sex hot and your vamps hotter go for it. be warned though hill's stories can be dark and deep but will leave a lasting impression.

In depth, addictive, funny. I actually cried and laughed at the same time. Elisa is a down to earth vampire servant who forgets her place at times. Malachi a very sexy vampire just gives in to her. Wow! Another brilliant piece of work from Joey Hill

This is the 7th book in the Vampire Queen series and follows on from A Vampire's Claim which in number 3 in the reading order.
Very moving and emotional, exceptionally erotic and just a fabulously great read. Anything and everything that Joey W Hill has written has been an absolute joy, and I fully expect that high standard to continue. She is just a sensational author, I cant get enough!
