I enjoyed this book it still kept the same brooding Darcy but for different reasons ie he's half vampire. It didn't distact from the love story and if anything made Elizabeth's determination to be with him stronger. Really good alternative to the original - but I love anything to do with Pride & Predjudice modern or regency. A good read.

I would recommend this book to any fan of Jane Austen. It is a fantastic read and once I had started to read it, I found that I could not put it down. It is a retelling of Pride and Prejudice but with a twist. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I have recommended this book to some of my friends who are also Jane Austen fans and they can't wait to read it. This book would have made an excellent film and I know that there would be a lot of people queuing to see it.

I just finished the booK "Vampire darcy's desire" of Regina Jeffers and i really loved it!!! I found it really well written and i enjoy it now more than the original novel of jane austen like the other two gothic modern versions of "Pride and Prejudice"!!!!
