DEAD DEEP is only 69 pages long, but those 69 pages are pure brilliance.
Having read both DEMONS OF THE OCEAN and TIDE OF TERROR, I was excited at reading a tale set in-between these two amazing books. I pondered what the title could mean, conjuring images of pirates buried at sea rising from their watery grave... I was shocked by what actually happens. And shocked in a good way.
Connor, Bart and Jez- the Three Bucaneers - are on shore leave from The Diablo and spend their time in Calle de Merinero. A floating city of taverns. Soon, trouble occurs and the trio find themselves on the run. Luckily, they land on a ship where they think they are safe.
The Lorelei is captained by a new friends father. Kally is very much fancied by Bart and when they plan to go diving, trouble occurs again.
I don't want to spoil the book but I do have to say, it is brilliant with a great appearance of Sidorio.
Enjoy! I did.
P.S. Reader beware, it will make you crave for BLOOD CAPTAIN, the third book released later this year.
