The basic premise being that a vampire king after days of battle with a mortal priest, succumbs to his wounds but vows to reincarnate. His two faithful servants spend the next 200 years attempting to find him, until doing so in the body of a gay man.
That's about as interesting as things get, as the movie transcends into a hapless adventure, poorly portrayed and somewhat farcical even for its genre. Vampire 'purists' will loathe this film, and in particular the choreographed musical interlude which has the audience standing and singing along with the reborn vampire king.
Whilst there are moments which are humorous and well considered, with some delightful condescension displayed by the vampire king, I was not enamoured either the story or the actors. At times I found myself wandering how longer the movie would be.
