Product Description

He's the man of her dreams . . . and he's a Dom.

Desperate for some peace and quiet after an ugly divorce, Anne escapes to the beach for an impromptu vacation. But instead of r&r, she finds unexpected passion in the arms of a longtime friend, Jack, who happens to be a widowed Dom. Anne is open to his lifestyle and asks him to teach her submission. But when she realizes she's lost her heart to him, things get complicated. Not only is she due back at her job in two weeks, but she fears competing with the memory of Jack's wife. Maybe it's not meant to be.

Anne's sweet submissive nature brings the Dom in Jack to life, and he finds the first happiness he's known in a long time. He plans a special surprise for her in his playroom on Valentine's Day - only to discover she's left without saying goodbye. The chase is on. If Anne thought she could leave him that easily, she'd better think twice...

Valentine Submission is an erotic romance with elements of BDSM.

This is such a sweet story - and I don't mean 'sweet' as in vanilla, I mean sweet as in this couple are just so wonderful and caring with each other.

Anne's rotten husband cheated on her, and Jack's wife died a while back. Anne and Jack have always been good friends, and neither of them have seen each other since they both lost their partners. But Anne decides to keep a date that she made to visit Jack way before all the bad stuff hit the fan... things take off from there.

This is a story about second chances, and finding love in the arms of a good friend and someone you care about. The BDSM element is light and fun to read, and Sue does a great job showing how a BDSM relationship can be about care and trust. Jack is so wonderfully protective and nurturing of Anne that this is a joy to read.

It took me about 30-40 minutes to read, and it's one of those lovely stories, you want to whip out when you're feeling a bit down, or just want something saucy and romantic to lighten your mood.

There's a realism to this that gives you hope that you can also find love amid hurt, and that time can heal wounds.

A worthy read - recommended :)

Great read 8 Feb 2012

Valentine Submission by Sue Lyndon is a fun, sexy and quick story. Anne is still recovering from her recent divorce and decides to go stay at a Bed & Breakfast run by her ex-husband's friend. Jack is a Dom who has been a widower for three years and when he sees Anne again, sparks fly immediately. Jack shows Anne what it's like to be his submissive and she embraces it. As Valentine Day approaches, Jack has special plans to make Anne forget what would have been her 10 year anniversary and reveal his true feelings for her. The author did a good job developing the main characters and providing readers with some background information that helps draw readers in emotionally. The hero is a strong Dom with integrity and the heroine is a survivor after everything she has gone thru. I became invested in their relationship and could not wait for them to get their happy ending. I really enjoyed this story and the love, respect and friendship that was portrayed between the Jack and Anne. I look forward to reading the next book written by this author.

Great read! 25 Feb 2012

Anne is reeling from the break-up of her marriage, but decides to keep the reservation they made for Valentine's day at a Bed & Breakfast owned by their mutual friend, Jack. Jack is thrilled to see Anne when she arrives, and is none too pleased with her ex's shenanigans and the subsequent hurt it has caused Anne. Jack is loving and supportive as she sorts through the hurt, and the longer she stays on at the B&B, the more Jack's feelings for her begin to surface.

Jack is a Dom of the highest order, and tries to suppress his feelings for Anne. Meanwhile, Anne knows of his proclivities, having spoken at length about it to Jack's late wife.

Both have their baggage (her cheating ex, and the death of his wife), but can Jack's domination and Anne's submission to him, make them whole again?

I loved Valentine Submission. Sue Lyndon did a great job with the characters, and their slow walk to each other amid their own issues was very real. This is a quick read, and the beauty of that is, you will want to read it over and over again.

Brava, Sue!

Short, sweet and HOT 29 Mar 2012
By Nikki B - Published on Amazon.com

With her divorce final, Anne makes a run to the only place she thinks she can relax. An old friend's bed and breakfast can be her refuge while she tries to ignore what would have been her 10 year anniversary. Filled with conflicting emotions when she sees the bed and breakfast owner, Jack for the first time in a while, Anne isn't sure she made the right decision to come. She knows Jack is a Dom but since losing his wife a few years ago, he has been stoically closed off.
Jack has been grieving his dead wife a long time and he knows it's time to move on. The arrival of the beautiful Anne gives him the nudge he's been waiting for. He is shocked when she offers herself as a Sub for the two weeks she plans on staying. What she doesn't understand yet is that Jack has no intention of ever letting this special woman go.

This super short erotic novella will definitely heat up your day! Don't go into this one expecting to connect fully though because of its length. However, I found that I connected much more than I usually do which is a nod to the author regarding her writing talent. I instantly thought Jack was incredibly sexy. He has that strong silent thing going on which I find incredibly appealing in a Dom. Jack has wanted Anne for so long, but being a friend of her ex-husband he knew she was off limits completely. When she shows up at his bed and breakfast he can't seem to control himself, though he does try. I loved his almost desperate attempt to have her. It really ramped up the emotions in the novella for me.
I liked Anne because of her willingness to learn to be a proper Sub. She never balked at Jack's requests even though she might have been slightly apprehensive. I think everything hinges on trust in these delicate relationships and I love discovering the road in which the couples take to achieve that trust.
The only part I had issues with was Anne running. Being caught off guard with the depth of her emerging emotions involving Jack she takes off. She then runs out of gas on her way back home and Jack just happens to call at that exact moment. I found that to be slightly unbelievable. I would have liked her to get home and realize that there was nothing there for her on her own. Plus watching her deal with that would have added more meat to the novella.
Valentine Submission is a wonderfully erotic and beautifully written novella. Those that enjoy the Dom/Sub stories should enjoy this one. For such a short novella I was pleasantly surprised at the back story that was written in.

I give Valentine Submission by Sue Lydon 4 stars!
