I watched Valentine, and loved it. It took me a few times to listen to all the music in it, but most of the tracks I thought were very good. This soundtrack is great, it even looks cool, a small pull out leaflet of movie imagery and that.
it doesn't include all the songs from the movie, and sadly not the "Guess the honeymoon is over song", which i loved!
But it does include opticon by orgy, which is quite catchy, and take a picture (Hybrid mix), from the bit when Denise is dancing in slow-mo.
There are other great tracks in this, all headed in the rock/techno disco direction.

Everyone should buy this soundtrack not only because it contains one of the best Linkin Park songs but it also includes classics from the Deftones and the one and only Marilyn Manson. The film does not do the great music justice!!!

Good CD.... for rock fans only though... 11 Jun. 2003
By Smorgan - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Let's get right to the point... If you don't like hard rock/techno, don't buy this cd. Just look at who's on it and you should know. Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Disturbed, Orgy, Deftones, Snake River Conspiracy, etc. Every song goes well with the movie except for Son Song, which is not Sean Lennon on his own, it is with Soulfly. I love this cd and just recently found it, so I have been listening to it non-stop. It doesn't get old at all, which is a good mark for any cd....

Question... 23 Mar. 2003
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
There is a song that occurs in the movie where Kate Capshaw has just finished sleeping with her boyfriend. It's kind of a soft, triphop styled song. Anyone have any clue what that song is and/or who it is by? I tried checking the song listings at imdb.com, but they only have this soundtrack listed. Any help is appreciated.

LOOKING FOR THAT MISSING TRIP HOP SONG? 24 Mar. 2011
By Evilspin - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
If you are one of the many looking for that song that was not included in the soundtrack, well look no further...The song is a Trip Hop song & called "So Sweet" by Sandy Brown. She was in the band Hypnogaja for some vocals and the song is credited under her and under the band Hypnogaja. Since Hypnogaja was a a signed band...the song appears under their name featuring Sandy Brown. She does Electronic/Indie/Trip Hop music and does a ton of work for movie soundtracks. Unfortunately she's barely credited. Don't know why, maybe thats why the song wasnt added to Soundtrack due to rights. But you can find the song on her site or the Rock band: Hypnogaja. I also have the song if you want an mp3 of it. The same thing happened to many commercials and movies that play Trip Hop music but never credit them. ::Jerks:: Even though I like Trip Hop music remaining underground they should be gain recognition instead of the crap playing nowadays :) One big trip hop song that sent many looking for it as well was the song: "Hold Me" by Saphir Cristal, which appeared in the Axe leather body wash commercial which Crystal sent me herself :) Support these artists!

well above average soundtrack 28 Aug. 2001

This is a great soundtrack. to tell the truth, i've never seen the movie, but who cares with the great songs on here. first off it's worth buying in my opinion for a cool "hybrid mix" of one of my favorites songs of all time filter's "take a picture". it's a great mix. from there you got huge bands like disturbed, static x, linkin park, deftones, orgy, and soulfly contribuiting great songs, especially soulfly. It's also got a great song by proffessional murder music, and band which in my opinion should get alot more attention then they do. but overall this is a great soundtrack to add to anyones rock music collection.

Awesome soundtrack! 26 Feb. 2001

"Valentine" is an excellent soundtrack. It has a lot of good music from some of the best modern heavy metal bands such as Linkin Park, Disturbed, Orgy and many others. "Opticon" by Orgy is my favorite song on the cd. I could listen to it for hours.
Rob Zombie has a pretty good "Porno Holocaust" remix of "Superbeast", though I prefer the version on the "End of days"
soundtrack. I prefer the LP cut of Static-x's "Love Dump" over the "Mephisto Odyssey's Voodoo mix". Disturbed does a good job with "God of the mind", and I like Deftones' "RX Queen".
"Valentine" is a no-brainer for Hard rock and Heavy Metal fans, but if your not into either of these genres of music, you may want to here the demo's on W.B.'s "Valentine" website before you purchase this one.
