This book is excellent. We used it for a weekend, found a great hotel, loads to do during the day with a great range of restauraunts and bars for the evenings. The best bit is the map on the inside cover, where all the recommended places are marked - so you don't spend ages working out where everything is!

We bought the new edition of the Valencia guide hot off the press just in time for 2010 fallas. It is bang up to date now, with information about all the new developments and attractions. The information given is both practical and inspiring - we left the city after a week knowing that we must go back because there is still so much more to see and do. The pull out map is very useful and it is not necessary to buy another unless you want to travel outside the city.

Very useful pocket guide for a 4-5 day stay. Maps could have been better but they can be grabbed from airport or Tourist Info on arrival. Metro detail is handy, this is the best way of getting around along with walking. Bioparc was excellent, even for those who are not great fans of zoos. Oceanographic was less impressive, but worth a day out (why no metro station near by!?!). Good sized city with plenty of areas to explore and contrasts between traditional and modern. The book help guide you through the differenet areas. Amke sure you visit the indoor market .... fabulous photo opportunities.
