Fun:
This is a great product for the fun factor and I don't regret buying it, but pretty quickly I found that it was hard to play the 'Goldeneye, 007' wii game with it. To jump over obstacles you have to press the 'A' button on the wii remote but the VX Shooter makes that really difficult to do because it extends the remote too far to reach easily. I'm sure more experienced gamers would be able to handle it effectively but that's just my experience. It does look cool though!

On opening the product my initial impression is the fairly cheap build quality but then it was a fairly cheap product. Squeezing the wii remote into the top seems ok at first as it's a snug fit but on removal you realise it actually marks the side of your controller. :-(
If the shooter did the job I still wouldn't have had any issues as the above gripes are fairly minor but then you actually start playing the game, shooter in your right hand and nunchuk in the left and realise mid action you need to press the 'A' button? i don't have a 12 inch index finger that can loop over and do that whilst shooting so I gave up and played without the shooter altogether.
Regardless of cost this product just doesn't work.

I bought this gun really to play Goldeneye as I used to love the Man With The Golden Gun mode in the old Nintendo 64 version and thought it would be fun to carry an actual golden gun.
And the gun is great. It is a shiny textured gold with 'Venom' written discreetly on the the side. To get the controller in you have to squeeze the clips at the back of the gun. In my excitement to use it I nearly broke it trying to open it up. It does actually tell you what to do on the back of the box if you care to look around. The box itself is one of those vac sealed ones you need a kitchen knife to open which always drive me nuts but this is the only real downside.
The gun itself is very simple. It's just a case that houses the Wii controller. But it is well done. The trigger is nicely sprung and there is a cable run down the back of the pistol grip to hide the Nun-chuck cable. It can also accommodate the Wii Motion Plus which is great news. I am an adult and the gun fits nicely in my hand.
I am pleased with the purchase and it is a great talking point when playing GoldenEye! I would recommend it if you want a fun gun to use with the Wii.

Not as good as i expected

very slow
i bought the gun to play GE but the classic controller is much better as the gun is hard to control and you cant move as quick. In multiplayer its igh on impossible to manouvere.
