This book rates as one of my favorites and I would recommend this one to anyone serious about vintage Beetles!If you're serious about having your Beetle 100% original this book shows the reader the 49-59 annual changes made to the Beetle and what options are correct based on serial (production) numbers of the car. It also shows correct paint codes and the options for the different models of the car (deluxe, standard, or export). This period of the production of the Beetle is probably the favorite for any vintage fan and this book is definately an interesting and informative read.
