I would say that overall it's OK, but several negative points must be known:
- graphics are outrageously poor - to the point that it is sometimes difficult to figure out what the answer is (!)
- the activity cards once inserted in the slot are impossible to take out (at least for the child)
- one activity isn't working
- the letters on keyboard are capital, but children learn small letters first so it's mixing up what they are learning at school.
- the instructions are very minimalist, so you have to find out most explanations by yourself
- the batteries lid isn't child-safe (no screws) so doesn't comply with regulations for 4y old children.

The only positive thing I can think of is that it is rather cheap, and does ressemble to a 'grown-up' laptop, so my son is happy with it, only for the playing grown-up thing.

Bought this for my grandson last Christmas. Very educational, has qwerty keyboard (not a.b.c.d. etc) which I think even four or five year olds can learn quite easily. So many things to do with it. My grandson mastered it far quicker than I did and he was four at the time. Excellent. Doesn't look too much like a kiddies computer. My grandson thinks he's got a proper laptop.
