I recently bought this toy as I was looking for something fun to intoduce my 14 months old son to letters, colours and foods vocabulary in an enjoyable way. It is a big success. I put it up on the wall with a silver magnetic board bought at IKEA, in a way that faces my child when I am feeding him. He loves listening to me lecturing him and taking possession of the letters and mini-fridge in between bites. Easy to wash up afterwards it makes feeding much fun and quicker. My son gives me big smiles when his favourites foods are mentioned and he can now recognise K for Kiwi along with few other letters! The toy has also an interactive Q&A mode, which I think will be appreciated sooner or later by my son and teaches a few things about food together with anedocts like "An apple a day keeps the Dr away". The speech is clear and easy to understand also for non-english mother-toungues (unlike most kid's toys on the market), so I bought one for my 6 yrs old Italian nephew who is learning English.
