This is by far the best cot toy we own and we have quite a few. The reason its so good is that it plays music for a long time on the night setting unlike some other cot toys we have which only play a short tune.
I found it useful in the early days when I was waiting for the bottle to heat up as a way to stop my daughter crying. Now she is older it is also useful if she wakes in the night. The other reason it is great is that its at the babies eye level. Toys that you attach to the top of the cot can only be got to by the baby if they stand or sit up which is really what you want to avoid when you want them to fall asleep. Also at the beginning before my daughter was in a cot (i.e when she was still in a moses basket) I attached this toy to the side of her baby gym she loved it. I totally love this toy and would recommend it.

We bought this before our baby was born because it was cheap and had quite a few features. Our daughter is now 13 months old and it's still fixed to her cot. I think we underestimated how much our daughter has become attached to 'Larry Lamb' (as he is called in our house) and how she is soothed by the range of lullabies and flickering lights. Sometimes when she wakes up she will press the big centre button and the music will start up and she will go back to sleep without us even needing to go into her. Every child should have a Larry Lamb!!

Deffinatly not good for my 17mnt old she desperately kept pressing buttons when in her cot then I realised she was trying to turn it off.
The light was good exept for the flashing.
Tha volume button is easily in her view and she kept turning it up and down, would be better on the back.
and if you want to turn it off so she doesn't knock it and turn it on in her sleep, then you have to click passed the other 2 modes that make a noise when you pass them.
All in all not doing the job for me.
Oh and it slips down the rung of the cot because not secure enough and the lock button is difficult to lock because its in line with the rung of the cot.
