Toy arrived well and quickly.
It does have a variety of functions and seem to be fairly well suited for a 6-7 year old child. Of course if your child prefers games, I would strongly advise NOT to get this toy as it is mainly educational with few simple games and no colour display.
The activities are indeed numerous, educational to some degree and could easily keep a child interested for quite a bit.
The major drawback, which in my view ruins everything, is the screen.
It has no backlight, so you need an external source of light to see what is displayed on it.
There is only a contrast adjustment and it is very very poor. In lots of light you cannot see the screen well and in dim light conditions again you struggle to see the screen. In addition, screen is not antireflective, which means that you mainly see your own face reflected on it and not what is actually displayed.
This 'fault' or whatever else you wanna call it is so serious that your child may only be able to enjoy the toy a bit...specifically if he or she had some good contact with real life pcs and laptops.
I wonder, would the people who made it be happy with such a lousy screen on their laptop? Why should a child then have to strain their eyes and struggle to follow the action?
Just for the above issue I would not be able to reccommend this toy.
