I am highly disappointed with this card, i bought my first one just over a week ago and within 48 hours it decided to just die on me, no warnings or anything just died. So i got the replacement through this morning and within 20 minutes of use it was cutting out the display despite the card not being over 45 degrees in temp.
For what is meant to be a gamers card i have to say it is anything but, yes it performed well when it did work but it's noisy, unreliable and to be honest not worth the hassle buying. Personally i will be sticking with the Sapphire brand myself and avoiding VTX like the plague.

About 4 hours after I installed the card, any game would just blue screen almost instantly. I looked at the reviews thinking that it may have just been a few dud cards, however they turned out to be right.
Spend £10 more on the Sapphire edition, don't bother with this, it isn't worth the risk.

I've owned this card for just under a year now, having bought it as a cheap replacement for an XFX 4870 that died after four years of service. I bought mine from eBay rather than Amazon and only paid £80 brand new. I honestly wasn't expecting much from it considering the price and unknown manufacturer, but seeing no point in sticking something expensive in an old system, I took the plunge. To say it's exceeded my expectations would be an understatement.

For one thing, it runs so much cooler and quieter than my old 4870. It's generally silent during gaming, only picking up to a barely-audible fan noise in extremely demanding titles. Performance-wise it's also proven to be a healthy upgrade. I only play at 900p, but at that resolution I'm yet to find a game that this can't run, even combined as it is with an ancient Phenom II X4 965. No doubt with a newer i5 CPU the results would be even better.

All in all, I've been delighted with my purchase. I don't think it would be worth buying at the price it is on Amazon as of this review (~£135), since you could get a 2GB 7850 from a better-known manufacturer for £20 more. But if you can get hold of one of these for under £100, I'd certainly recommend it based on my experience.

I had one of these running for 13 months before it failed completely. It was temperamental during that period. Amazon's customer service was, once again, excellent and they supplied a replacement quickly. The replacement was temperamental to the point of being unusable. Returned for refund and bought different model (Sapphire Radeon R9) which has just worked.

I will not buy VTX3D again.

Performance is brilliant for the price. Maxes out most at 1920x1200.
There have been a few occasions where the card had caused screen judder and the odd bluescreen (not during gaming). This is due to a driver issue related to auto under-clocking of the GPU and memory. This can be disabled in Catalyst Control Centre. The card will run at full clock speed at all times.

Mine failed too...

My card overheated, artefacted from day one, then eventually failed.

Rubbish card - avoid at all costs, my only regret is that I took so long to return it to Amazon.

I can only echo the words of the other reviewers. I have bought two of these now and both have failed within a month, the first didn't even last a day. Complete waste of money.
