Fitted last night. Installation pretty unremarkable and the car is quite quiet when it runs. You can hear teh fan but it's not intrusive.

It is a big card so some things to consider -
It might cause problems if the power cables from your PSU to the motherboard are short. You might want to consider extension cables.
It does include a DVI to RGB adapter and a bridge if you've bought two cards to use in tandem.
It doesn't include a screw for the backplate so make sure you've got a spare.

It's hard to judge performance but it is a vast improvement over the built in Intel HD Graphics. I'm not a massive gamer but it is running Assassins Creed 2 at 1920x1080 with all the settings maxed out.

Great card very powerful, plays skyrim with several high res packs perfectly,
At idol it settles at 36-38*C always forget to check the temps in game but hottest I've noted it run is 55*C average while gaming is 48*C
Oh yes and you need a 6 pin connector, on some other 6850 they have 2 6 pin power connectors

It supports morphological anti aliasing, enabled in amd catalyst controll centre, it puts a very low dent in performance. Keep in mind currently this setting blurs out windows 8 start screen, (It was made to make the visual experience better and it did :) Microsoft might fix this with the official final release, but they haven't as of yet.

At first most games kept crashing and an error message saying "display drivers have been shut down and successfully restored" this has been a very common problem in a lot of graphics cards sence the time of vista, google " turn off tdr checker" for a fix that actually works ( this is useful for many other cards aswell)

It comes 25mhz overclocked on the core and 50mhz on the memory so it's a mild overclock. Can be pushed further easily,

Runs every game I've tried with settings up full perfectly. This is a fantastic card and as you can see it has good looks to, keep a good eye on the 6870 it has a fair bit more power and sometimes the price difference isn't much.
