4.0 out of 5 stars So far so good 17 Jun 2011
Ordered these in blind faith based on price -for crossfire setup. I would say they are doing the business. Temps seem reasonable (gpu-z). Games very smooth with no performance issues so far identified. Cooler (twin fan) feels a little cheap but has a fair bit of copper is quiet at idle. Loud when pushed (but a lower pitch and not too unpleasant loud). Assuming these bench as they should in crossfire, then I do feel that the amazon price represents a bargain for an excellent card (here's hoping that they remain reliabe)

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Card 27 July 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase
VTX3D graphics cards are made by the same company that makes PowerColor graphics cards.

Installation no problem
Cooling - Under the red plastic cover there is a large heat sink the length of the card with large copper pipes attached and two fans on top.
The temperatures on my setup - IDLE about 36c - LOAD (playing game 1hr) max 62c ( most games play mid fifties c )
The two fans and a large heat sink mean that the temps drop down fast when you reduce the load.

Noise - From boot starts with a whoosh then quietens down, on idle very quiet, playing blue ray quiet, playing games reasonably quiet up to not unduly loud.

FPS - Used the benchmark app that is installed with DIRT3 found in options of the game menu. I set the resolution to my monitor 1920x1200 and used only the settings allocated which was HIGH
The benchmark in DIRT3 is a testing one it involves a multiple car race on snow with snow blowing. The result 81fps average.

I don't know if you can unlock to 6970 but i'm not bothered by that.
Overall i am very happy with this card. Good cooling, very reasonable sound levels and plays everything on highest no problem.

Requires 2 6pin power connections located on side of card, beware does not come with 6pin to 2 molex adaptors.
