I haven't written a review on the internet before but considering I would of loved to read one on this product, I feel compelled to write one up. Okay for a start a 2GB Graphics card for £32 is a bargain. I upgraded from a Nvidia GeForce 9400GT 512MB card which I had problems with because of the resolution. I had my PC plugged into a HDTV using a HDMI input and this TV was not meant be plugged into a PC. As soon as I got the 5450 however, it enabled other resolutions on my TV that my previous card would not do. Also my windows experience increased from a 3.5, to a 4.7 just putting in this gaphics card(my PC is a HP Slimline s3631uk.)
I found other reviews on the 512MB and 1GB versions of the card and they all say that this card is more for video playback than gaming but considering I can now run Crysis 1 on high graphics and Crysis 2 on high as well, I'd say this card must be a lot better from the lesser 5450 models. Included in the box is a driver installation CD which works fine but I'd check the ATI website for driver updates, I found better drivers on there so its a good idea to do that.
I was concerned the that because my last card had a fan to help with cooling that buying a new graphics card with a heat sink would not be as good as the fan but I was wrong. The temperature never gets to high and my PC is now completely slient compared to the loud fan I had on my old NVIDIA.
I know that the 5450 series graphics cards are the weakest of the 5 series but a 2GB graphics card for £32 is stupidly cheap so for that reason alone is has 5 stars from me.
