VTX3D AMD Radeon HD 6450 2Gb Silent Graphics Card (DDR3, DirectX 11.0 Support, HDMI, DVI-I, VGA, AMD HD3D Technology)
I Agree with Ernie's Review above.
I have just built my New Computer (ASUS M5A78L-M USB3) and was looking for a Quality Made Graphics Card but at a Budget Price just to keep me going until i can afford to invest in something better at a later stage.
Having done a bit of research i found this card and thought Great...
What a Disappointment...
I've got a Clean Installation of Windows7 Ultimate 64bit on a Brand New 320Gb SATA Hard Drive, Ive Updated the BIOS to the Newest as well as All of the Drivers and Programs Installed.
The WIndows Experience in the OS (WIndows 7 Ultimate 64 bit with 16 GB of (4 x 4GB matched ram installed)) CPU is an AMD FX 8-core Processor Black Edition (Unlocked and Overclockable using AMD Turbo CORE Technology 3.1 GHz. 18MB Cache).
The results were dreadful.
The results were as follows:
Desktop for windows AERO went from 4.8 (with Standard Onboard Graphics ) down to 4.1.
A drop of 0.7 in performance there.
Business & Gaming also dropped just as dramatic.
I Also ran 3D Mark06 Pro. (a Computer Benchmarking Program) and had similar results.
I would think that if you have an Older Mother Board/Computer and you need to Upgrade then this might be the Graphics Card for you BUT... If you have a New Mobo/Computer then Save your money for a Better Graphics Card.
