I bought this product having been told that ultra-sonic rat repellers work. The one I wanted was not available so gave this one ago. The instructions say to give 4 -weeks before judging the effect. Having rat/mouse visitors most nights the result was IMMEDIATE. And 4 weeks in still no sign. Good choice.

We live in the country and have used Vermatik 3-1 for 5 years now in our house. They do work, but it does take time and the info tells you that. I even added an electric extension to the greenhouse where Mr Rat moved in 1 winter and has not been seen since. I would say it took weeks before we stopped hearing the mice in our loft. But once they left we have not heard anything more for years. Only reason buying these new ones are our neighbours have free range hens and the rats have now moved into some of our out buildings near by. So Mr Rat begone once again!!!

We had mice! We tried humane traps, but the mice just took the peanut butter: we tried poison, the mice didn't eat it: we tried ordinary mousetraps and eventually got one mouse... The we bought this plug-in Vermatik mouse Repeller. This was back in August. I didn't think it would work, which was why we bought a reasonably priced gadget - but - guess what? No mice since then!
The only thing I don't like about this Repeller is that it has a very bright blue light which is on all the time it is dark. This doesn't really matter as no-one sleeps in the kitchen where it is plugged in. It has an Air Purifier, but I don't notice any difference in the air quality, but that's not what it was bought for.
Worth buying to deter mice.

Dont Think it works
Bought Two of these-one for upstairs and one for downstairs just in case. A few weeks on still got the little blighters but will keep trying...was a nice idea

POOR DOES NOT WORK
Do not bother with this product it is a waste of time and money. I would go as far to say that it has the opposite affect of what it was designed for and attracts the mice. Read more

Totally useless - doesnt work
I purchased two of these devices a few weeks back and despite constant use on the ground floor, these have had ZERO impact on mice in the house
