Product Description

During a three day rampage Detective Chief Inspector John Rice must stop his most brutal foe: a killer so intent on vengeance that not even death can stop him.

Synopsis

The higher ranks of the police department wouldn’t have noticed the brutal murder of a prostitute in South London if it hadn’t been for a calling card left with the body. On the one side the murderer lists out her crimes in emotionless efficiency, on the other, there’s the silhouette of a penitent praying Angel.

DCI Rice reluctantly agrees to take on the case, even though he is close to closing down a violent paedophile ring. However, when the next victim’ s body is found to be that of ringleader, Simon Winchester, with yet another card from the murderer, it becomes clear that this is a vigilante with a unique insight into the criminal underworld.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dire! 15 Mar 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I downloaded this, book of words, I would not consider it to be a novel, for free. Had I paid for it I would now be knocking on the door of Mr. O'Kane demanding my money back. However, having said that, if you want to read it and spot ALL the mistakes, grammatical errors (even one of the main character names spelt two different ways), then go ahead. Mr.O'Kane, if you ever write another "book" do not trust your spellings to spell checker. Here's an example:- yaw miss steaks will knot bee picked up if thee word yew use is a reel word, own lea if yew spell it incorrectly. Pay good money to have someone proof read it before hand. Just one other thing. The beginning of a sentence usually starts with a capital letter!

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent read 6 May 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Very well written story, though spoilt by not being proof read correctly. The word `past` always being spelt `passed` I found annoying, but all in all a good story.
