I use 2 monitors as i work from home, originally an acer 17" and dell 17" both 4:3. The dell was getting a little dodgy so bought a new samsung 22" widescreen however it broke after a few months and amazon refunded me instead of replacing so looked for a another new one and this one looked good enough. The 17" ACER i have has lasted a while and still works excellently so i looked for another ACER. Besides having both DVI and VGA it also has a VESA mounting on the back which the samsung did not have. I was not really worried about it because my pc was mounted on rear of the 17" but after purchasing this monitor, i mounted it on the back and my PC is not visible at all, which i like. The monitor itself is simple in design and the display is excellent, i am now even thinking of replacing my 17" with another one of these monitors. i am very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone.

I had read a couple of not-so-impressive reviews on Amazon about this product so I was a little sceptical but Acer is a good name so I went for it. I needed a biggish monitor to attach to a laptop to aid my ageing eyes and make Photoshop work in fine detail somewhat easier. The monitor arrived really quickly, it all fitted together in moments, I linked it to the laptop (not an Acer) and it worked immediately with none of the technical problems that a few others had experienced. It's a great bit of kit and came at a very reasonable price. Very impressed.ACER V223WBBD 22" WIDESCREEN BLACK TFT MONITOR VGA & DVI-D 5ms

It's a nice big monitor. Better than my previous one. Which had broken. Better than my son's which was very lackluster. No speakers. Good. Little more to say really.
