This is a brilliant excercise bike for anyone wanting anything but an extreme workout. It was simple to put up. It folds easily, though maybe not quiet as flat as it might. The problem that stopped me giving it 5 stars is that it is tall. I am 5ft 3" and have to struggle to get on and off. I nearly sent it back because I could not step through it. I learned to take my leg over the back of the saddle, while balancing on one toe. If you are any smaller than me then it could be a bit dangerous. There is no way of making it lower. If you are taller than me the bike is a good one to try. It is very quiet to use too.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as you would think from the reviews. 31 Aug 2011

First of CostBiter who I bought this from where great, I bought it about 7.30pm at 8.30pm they were on the phone saying I would have it next day.

Anyway the bike. Now first off I have never been to a gym so don't really have any experience of other bikes apart from the odd 10 minute go here and there so for all I know (though I expect not) the issues may be the same with all X frame bikes.

The seat is unconfortable but fortunately it doesn't seem to get much more uncomfortable but a new saddle or a cushion is probably a must.

The resistance may as well not be there. It came on the highest setting so when I assembled it (wich was very easy) and gave it a quick go I thought it was set on low but couldn't go up.

Every couple of pedal rotations you are reminded that the resistance wheel is not round. This is only a small thing and certainly doesn't stop you using the bike.

The bike is very quiet and is ideal for use whilst watching the TV.

I would recommend this bike but only on the understanding that you are buying a cheap bike and it will not replace a proper bike.

4.0 out of 5 stars V-Fit my opinion 20 Oct 2011
I wanted a folding bike to exercise in my bedroom during the winter months, due to lack of space a folding bike seemed like the best option and the cheapest. It took me about 45 mins to set up, I can't see how it took 10 mins like someone else mentioned but for me it took longer than I thought, but anyway its in my bedroom now, I love it, weight is just about manageable to lift when I need to move it around, and when folded, it really doesn't take much room which great. The seat is ok, not great but i've had worse. The resistance is ok for me, staying at 7, but i could understand if people wanted a lot more and only going up to 8 is not enough. The only negative i would say is that after about 20/25 mins the bike makes a noise, when you keep pedaling it makes a clonking sound everytime you make a rotation on the pedals which gets very annoying, not sure if that is just a problem with my bike or everyone's but it seems to keep happening, otherwise it is a quiet and easy bike to use.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Bike for Light Exercise! 16 Sep 2011
The bike has 8 settings ranging from very easy to not as easy. The resistance on the hardest setting isn't as hard as I would have liked it to be but it still does the job! The display system is great as you can see how many calories you are burning which I find really helpful. The bike folds up and can easily be stored in the corner of the room. Overall I am very happy with the exercise bike, it wasn't too expensive and does exactly what it promises. Brilliant product!

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well for the price, folds small 28 Sep 2011
The V-fit does work well for the price, is sturdy and folds up quite small. My only quibble is that it would be nice to know if I was cycling in kilometers or miles, no info in the box or with the monitor!

5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth the money. 9 Jun 2010
V-Fit MXC1 Folding X Frame Magnetic Cycle is a nice piece of exercise equipment. Folds nicely. Doesnt take too much space even when unfolded. The resistance is decent enough to challenge you and I can bet that before you'll be able to go to the highest setting available it'll take some time. Assembly took me about 10 minutes. All in all I must say I'm quite happy with the purchase.
Oh and btw, the monitor requires 2 AA batteries, not provided with the bike.

For me the seat will not go high enough to allow my legs to extend. Otherwise a good bike for the price.
