Resistance is provided by an air fan flywheel which has an additional polypropylene friction tape resistance system with twist adjustable resistance controller. with over-size, fixed-position PVC footplates for correct foot placement during exercise the Mistral has a 5-function exercise monitor with Calorie (Theoretical Calorie Burn), Distance (Miles / Km), Handgrip Pulse (Beats / Minute), Scan, Speed (MPH / Kmh), and Time (Minutes / Seconds) modes to enable recording or monitoring of exercise progress.
