Went through quite a list of keep fit bikes before deciding to go for comfort while excercising!
This one seemed to tick all the boxes, looked sturdy and capable of coping with my present weight, hopefully to be reduced over the coming months of excercise!!
When the box arrived (pretty prompt, I might add) I was stunned at how many pieces it was in, this was like a giant airfix model kit! Well 4 hours later I had finally used up all the parts, bits, nuts and bolts... and with none left over felt fairly confident that I had assembled it correctly.
Three weeks in I'm quite happy with my purchase and consider it well manufactured and robust. But I think there should be some indication in the description details to alert potential buyers that it requires a lot of self assembly!

GREAT bike....Took around 1-2 hours to set up and have had to do absolutely nothing extra since, very quiet operating, interval settings are great, coming from someone who literally lives and breathes health and fitness you can rest assured that this bike is AWESOME!

Good quality
Recumbent - so cardio doesn't detract whatsoever from my weight training (no skill involved, no lower back pain from sitting up etc)
Overall....love it!
I bought it with pretty much NOTHING to go on apart from a few vague reviews here and there...Hopefully this review will "tip" you over the edge to buy it!

I have to be honest when I say my husband and I are not exactly the most self motivated type when it comes to exercise so when he suggested purchasing this machine, I rolled my eyes with the feeling that it would be yet another fad that would be used for a couple of weeks before finding it's way to the back of the garage for years to come!
The item is on the large side so ensuring you have ample space is essential. As I say, we are not the most motivated so having it where we are most of the time was important so it has ended up being placed behind the couch. Not always ideal but great for just jumping on to do 30mins whilst watching tv!!
Anyway the machine itself is great for the price you pay. It is strong, well built and so far, robust. The seat can be adjusted so the most comfortable position is reached. The seat is surprisingly very comfy.
You can choose different settings and modes from just cycling at one level to setting a choice of programmes that take you through varying resistance levels. This gives you the impression you are going up hills etc. It also has a pulse rate monitor which works by holding on to the bars to pick up your pulse although I find this doesn't always seem to work accurately although I can't be sure?
I personally think this V-fit cycle is the bees knees as it is comfy, easy to use, affordable and well built. I highly recommend this product to anyone!

Good purchase but you'll need two to construct
Have had this bike for about 10 days now and I think is great. You will need two people to construct it - there are a lot if bits - but construction is not complicated. Read more
