Start with the positives - good, speedy delivery. Well packaged and easy to assemble.

Now, I'm 5"4 and the bike is at its lowest adjustable setting and its very difficult to pedal smoothly and aggravates my knees. Having issues with my knees I was hoping to use it to strengthen but at the moment that's not happening because I can't stand 5 minutes on the bike.

Secondly the seat is very uncomfortable, although for the price your paying you aren't going to expect a plush cushion.

The bike is not as picture which is annoying.

At the moment I'm trying to decide whether to dismantle it and send it back or drill an extra hole to lower the seat!

Be warned if you are 5"4 and under - this bike is not for you.

I am very pleased with this bike! It came with good instructions and wasn't too much of a chore to put together!

The counter display is very good, I like to use it on the scan setting but it is easy to change even when you're cycling! The bike does have a way of changing the setting so it's easier or harder to pedel but I always use it on the hardest which doesn't seem all that hard. I would prefer it if it had more resistance but I still get a good work out and and finish hot and sweaty!!!

The only down side of the bike is the saddle- it's quite hard and I have to use a cushion to sit on to prevent bruising my bottom! I also found the handle covers impossible to get on and you do need something as my hands hurt without them, I split the covers up the middle and placed them around the bars and used masking tape (soft on your hands and not sweat making) at 1/2 intervals to keep them on! = funky stripey handels bars!!!

I would reccommend this bike for beginners!

*****EDIT*****

I wrote my original review quite soon after buying this bike and my opinion has since changed. The seat is very uncomfortable, I'm 5ft and 8.5 st, I had to use a cushion to sit on. I also found that the bike did not give enough resistance to make me feel like I was getting a good workout - I did adjust the settings to see if that helped but it didn't. Overall I wouldn't recommend this bike.

Bike relatively easy to assemble. Reasonably sturdy though lacks a good range of real tension on the fly wheel. You can pedal fast but not much load. Never the less you can get a reasonably workout on the bike and given its price its quite good value.

after a difficult set up, i experianced the actual bike; all i can say is extremely poor resistance, not capable of a workout! im returning this bike as a result!

Used just for general fitness, in a way I wish I'd paid more and got a programmable one rather than a basic one, however, for the money it does the job!

A sturdy product but has the following deficiencies:

It comes as a flat pack which I did not see mentioned. The fact that I had to assemble it may account for the next problem.

Adjusting the tension is far from satisfactory.

I am not exceptionally tall but it was impossible to adjust the saddle to the correct height for cycling without drilling extra holes in the stem.

Avoid this, there is no tension in the belt causing no really work out at all. The actual build of the bike is pretty good but if you looking to get some excerise this will not do.
