Have been using machine for a couple of months now, and it has not let me down. Mainly do speed-walking rather than running and it does the job admirably. Will no doubt start using it even more regularly as it gets colder, wetter and darker earlier, and I get too wimpish to run outside. Might not be for a professional or 'hard-core' athlete, but for the likes of a couple of keep-fitters like my wife and I, it's ideal; especially so for the price. Would definitely recommend.

Purchased this as I needed everyday walking exercise after an operation to get fit and as I'm a fair weather walker its ideal for the purpose in cold, wet England. Because I was recovering from operation I needed some help putting it together but it is easy to use. Takes up slightly more room than I thought but well worth the space and the money to stay warm and dry. Apparently needs lubricating regularly which I wasn't expecting and it doesn't tell you what lubricant to use, but this is a minor point.

For the house this is a great bit of equipment my husband has been using it every night and has lost 7lb (only another 30lb or so to go), he had to fiddle with the belt a little to get it running true but he said it was simple enough and the motor is quiet. It was easy to put together and works a treat. If your worried about the 10kph top speed it's faster than it sounds. Altogether a good home treadmill and I would recommend it.

Brilliant piece of kit
This item performs just as well as some considerably more expensive treadmills. Easy to set up (only takes one person), and has a nice sturdy feel. Couldn't be happier.
