The Blueskins have just finished supporting the widely hyped 22-20's on tours around the UK. Yet on listening to this, their debut single, perhaps it is the support act that deserve a little of the hype?
The Wakefield four-piece's frantic blues-rock ep combines moments of The White Stripes with a little of The Libertines, especially in the barely two minute 'Blue Sneakers', possibly the best of the three tracks. 'Give Me Your Hand' will no doubt soon be found gracing indie-clubs dancers' ears soon, and title track 'User Friendly', with it's wondefully chaotic and swaggering stomp could easily show a few of their contempories a thing or two that they would be wise to employ.
Let the hype begin!
